Accord Software & Systems Pvt. Ltd.- Software Division, Bangalore, has achieved Maturity Level 5 rating on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)®, - SW, v 1.1, Staged Representation.

The rigorous assessment based on SEI’s Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI Class A) was led by Software Quality Center Pvt. Ltd.’s (SQC) SEI Authorized Lead Assessor, Krishnan Puthucode.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Krishnan Puthucode said: “Accord’s software division is one of the few organizations with a strong motivation to achieve excellence in quality. Particularly laudable among them is the ability to use the CMMI model and its practices effectively to suit the organization’s projects, institutionalization of Metrics collection and usage for process improvement. The uniqueness of this division’s achievement is that quality movement has percolated down throughout the division’s employees in the organization, making it very effective. This achievement is really an exciting one, since it makes Accord’s software division join the elite brand of fewer than 75 organizations world wide that have achieved this benchmark as per recent published and available SEI data”.
